SafeGulf - Test Out

The Safe Gulf Test allows students who qualify to challenge the Safe Gulf Exam without having to take the full course. In order to be eligible for the Test Out Option, the candidate must have successfully completed a safety orientation class such as PEC/SafeGulf, Rig Pass, OMSA or an operator specific program, or safety training on the listed topics within the past three years. Topics a candidate must have training in are:

• Drug & Alcohol Awareness
• HazCom/HazWoper 1st Responder Awareness
• Electrical Safety (Non-Qualified)
• Intervention/Stop Work
• Fire Prevention / Fire Extinguishers
• Walking Working Surfaces Awareness
• Job Safety & Environmental Analysis
• Offshore Orientation & Emergency Evacuation
• Respiratory Awareness
• Marine Debris Awareness
• Permitting Awareness
