Personal Protective Equipment

When engineering and administrative controls fail to protect a worker from a recognized hazard, Personal Protective Equipment is required. This course is designed to educate workers on when Personal Protective Equipment is required. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment, including maintenance and storage, as well as the limitations of PPE. Types of PPE and topics discussed include:

• Eye and Face Protection
• Head Protection
• Hand Protection
• Foot Protection
• Hearing Protection
• Respiratory Protection
• Protective Clothing
• Limitations of PPE
