This program meets all Federal and State requirements and is conducted in accordance with API-RP-55 and 30 CFR 250.67. Students will participate in active discussion throughout the program which covers:

• What is H2S?
• Where is it found?
• The chemistry and nature of H2S.
• Properties and characteristics of H2S.
• P.P.E necessary when H2S is present
• Physiological effects
• H2S detection instruments
• Rescue procedures
• S.C.B.A skills
• Safety measures

Length: 3 hrs.
