Hearing Conservation

According to OSHA 1910.95 covered employees are required to institute a training program for all employees who are exposed to noise at above an 8 hour time weighted average of 85 decibels and shall ensure employee participation in such program. Our Hearing Conservation program consists of the following:

• An introduction to noise
• What is noise and its levels
• The anatomy of the ear, outer, middle, inner
• Hearing Protection
• When do you need protection
• Signs of hearing loss
• Decibel Readings
• Medical Testing
• Noise Reduction

Length: 2 hrs.

Course Renewal: Annually
