This course is designed to enable employees to understand the purpose of the Hazardous Materials Regulations and how they impact the manner in which you handle hazardous materials. This course goes into greater detail than the Basic course and is more appropriate for personnel who will actually be filling out shipping papers and/or packaging hazardous materials. This course will:

• Help you understand which substances are classified as hazardous materials
• Help you determine the appropriate packaging for hazardous materials
• Help you comply with the communications requirements
• Help you to handle hazardous materials safely

Length: 8 hrs.
