National Safety Council is the premier provider of defensive driver training in the nation.

Safety and Training Consultants instructors are National Safety Council (NSC) approved administrators of the NSC’s Defensive Driving Courses (6, and 8 hr).

NSC’s programs are trusted by more traffic safety courts, motor vehicle departments, municipalities, businesses, government agencies and driving schools nationwide for consistent quality course materials and instructors.

Topics covered in the instructor course include:

• Defensive driving practices
• Accident preventability
• Driving conditions
• Following distance
• Avoiding head-on collisions
• Intersections
• Alcohol and drugs
• Work zone safety
• Mental and physical conditions of the driver

Length: 6-8 hrs.

Course Renewal: 2 years.
