Asbestos Awareness

As promulgated by OSHA, the employer must train all employees who are exposed to airborne concentration of asbestos at or above the action level or excursion limit. This training must be provided prior to or at the time of initial assignment and at least annually thereafter. This training course (awareness level) covers the following:

• Forms, used, and recognition
• Health effects
• Potential locations
• Work practices and engineering controls
• Exposure limits and controls
• Protective clothing and equipment
• Housekeeping

Length: 2 hrs.
